HYDRA X for Process supports machine operators with Recipe Management, enabling them to process the right ingredients in the correct quantity, at the right time, and in the correct sequence. With features for modeling, managing, and documenting recipes & parameter sets, we enable comprehensive tracking and control. Gain full control over your production processes by efficiently designing and managing recipes. Seamlessly connect parameters, document all relevant steps, and ensure transparent traceability.
Recipe Management features
- Recipe parameter management: Central management of all recipe parameters for efficient adjustment and optimization of production processes.
- Management of manufacturing instructions & recipes: Creation, editing, and documentation of detailed instructions for production, including ingredients, quantities, and specific process steps.
- Subrecipes, process steps, and bill of materials: Structured breakdown of recipes into subrecipes and process steps with detailed bill of materials for all components used.
- Up- and down-scaling (bill of materials quantity adjustments): Adjustment of bill of materials quantities to flexibly respond to production requirements and ensure correct scaling of all parameters.
- Material and equipment parameter management: Definition and updating of material and equipment parameters for precise control of quality characteristics and equipment requirements.
How Recipe Management works
All of these steps result in a recipe that the operator receives for their task. This includes manufacturing instructions such as "Bake for 20 minutes" and recipe parameters like "Oven set temperature 130°C." If the operator deviates from the prescribed 130°C set temperature and decides to bake at 190°C, this will be evident later in the Manufacturing Execution System (MES). Each of these deviations is accurately recorded thanks to Recipe Management.
Benefits of Recipe Management
- Efficient control, recording, and continuous optimization of product, production, and parameter configurations (Golden Batch).
- Optimal adaptability combined with safety features of MPDV.
- Sustainable documentation of all work steps.
- Ensuring safety in exceptional situations (HA, abort/...).
- Reliable handling of batch traceability through the tracking & tracing system.
- Ability to flexibly define processes.
- Creation and maintenance of a digital twin for enhanced work processes.
